As far as we are concerned , we all love flashing our phones...

We like our phone to be modded to the max and love to have many mods applied .....

But we should also take care of some general things for flashing and customisation....

Here are some Tips and General info...

• Firstly, you should check what firmware you phone is using

• Have a set of the same files, the MAIN, FS and CUSTPACK, ready just in case you need to reflash

• Using any customisation tool (XS++ or SETool) backup your GFDS so as to restore it in case any problem occurs in the future

• Before messing with your phone internals, make sure your phone has at least a 80% charge on it. Plugging your phone into the computer while in its internal mode will NOT charge it.

• Its safer to remove your memory card & sim card before messing with your phone internals

• Keep a backup of your phone's files and things. Either with a copy of your files or with a backup from MyPhoneExplorer

• Install proper usb drivers for phone to be detected

• Press and hold "C" button while connecting and once connected u can leave button

• Stay at your pc while your phone is being 'used' by your pc; you never know what might happen

• When flashing any patch into your phone, you may get a 'byte mismatch' error, if that happens it is highly recommended you do NOT continue, as bad things might happen. Only continue IF you are VERY sure.

• Always press only the button you require and don't press any other buttons by mistake as it can corrupt main or fs during serious occurences

• Always be patient and disconnect the phone in a proper way, not hastily, as it can be dangerous. The fastport and/or cable can be damaged

• Constant plugging and removal of data cable should be avoided as this may loosen connector and phone will not connect properly...
