Applying the QuickAccess patch using JDFlasher on db2020 phones

This tutorial applies to only db2020 CID52 phones which require the QuickAccess patch to access the phone's internals in a much quicker time as compared to a default, slow, conventional method.

If you have patched anything else before this QuickAccess patch, do note that you will be flashing in your MAIN again, making all the patches removed.
There is a chance that your files, smses, and/or other things in your PHONE memory may be removed. Thus, do keep a backup copy of it.

In This Tutorial

Files needed:

A copy of your MAIN - in this tutorial, we are using a R8BE001 GENERIC_LA MAIN for the w580
JDFlasher and FAR all ready and setup for use by db2020 phones
- Should have the qamaker.exe in the 2020_52 folder within the jdflasher plugin directory
Phone at 80-90% charge
An already debranded/customized phone

Here goes:

Copy a copy of your MAIN into the 2020_52 folder of your jdflasher directory.
- (In this case, "C:\Program Files\Far\Plugins\jdflasher\2020_52\")
Drag and drop that copied MAIN into qamaker.exe
Wait until a new file called "quick_access_W580_R8BE001.vkp" comes out in that same directory
Run Far Manager, run the JDFlasher Plugin
Select the "db2020" script in the selection box of the dialog
Click "jump down into the large rabbit hole"
Once it is done, open the "bflash" folder
It will perform a long operation, telling you to reinsert the battery of your phone quite a few times, usually 3 - it will tell you when to do that. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR COMPUTER!
Once that is done, it will tell you to reflash your MAIN. We will be doing that now
In the other pane, navigate to where the previously created "quick_access_W580_R8BE001.vkp" file is located, "C:\Program Files\Far\Plugins\jdflasher\2020_52\"
Select your MAIN file (".mbn", not ".vkp"!) and select COPY (F5)
In the 1st dialog, don't change anything - use the pre-selected options
In the 2nd dialog, make sure the option "Flash Babe Image" (1st option) is selected, and click flash
After the flashing is complete, select the "quick_access_W580_R8BE001.vkp" in the other pane and press COPY
Don't change anything in the 1st dialog again
In the 2nd dialog, make sure the option "Process vkp patch" is selected
It should take a few seconds
Click the 3 dots ("...") at the top of the folder listing and press OK or Yes
Disconnect your phone as usual
Select the JDFlasher plugin again in FAR
This time, select "qa2020" as the script, NOT "db2020"!
Jump down into the large rabbit hole
Open up bflash and apply your patches by selecting your .vkp patch in the other pane and press f5 to copy. Make sure Process vkp patch is selected and then OK
Once done, make sure you follow step 18 and you're done!
